Abstaining from Fast Food for a Brilliant Marriage and a Healthier Body

If you want to keep a healthier body along with a good marriage then don’t consume fast food.  Yes, that is correct – I’m sure you’ll comprehend exactly what I mean shortly when I say that fast food obsession raises your chance of requiring divorce lawyers.

Fast food can make a person accumulate weight like practically nothing else.  That is because it’s packed with bad fats and sugar.

As your arteries clog up with fat your whole body begins to go down hill, but that is certainly not the only destroyer.

Consider the stress it leads to on your wallet. The typical fast food meal costs roughly $7.  Now if you’re in the practice of upsizing it will most likely cost you $7.60 – yes, double the fat for 10% extra charge.  Now that is value!

For any family of say, 2 adults and 3 kids, that’s a meal expense of $35.  Add to that an additional $5 for vehicle costs to get to the fast food outlet and back again and that is an overall total meal cost of over $40.

Now, compare that with the alternative choice of purchasing some nutritious food ingredients from the grocery store. That may cost you, say, $15 to feed two adults and three kids and perhaps 30-40 minutes to prepare the food.

Ok, I can appreciate that it is not really as convenient as buying fast food, however the consequence of constantly consuming fast food is not that convenient either.

For a start, there is $25 you’re saving on every single fast food family meal.  For an addict, that adds up to as much as $100 per week or $5000 every year.  In addition to that there is the cost to your health and fitness.

The pressure of financial stress is often a big factor in separation and divorce, and as you are able to see, having a fast food habit will contribute substantially to that stress. Could you visualize as an alternative investing $5000 every 12 months directly into your own marriage and family?

What about having a $5000 annual pay cut in return for extra annual leave time.  That way you might be able to devote some real time together and not become strangers beneath the same roof.

What else might a person do with another $5000 per 12 months?  Settle the mortgage a lot faster? Take your spouse out to a fine eating place every fortnight and paying a baby sitter so that you are able to have some ‘together’ time?

So now I am sure you will understand.  If you want a great marriage and wish to keep the family lawyers away, keep away from fast food.  It will be a lot better to your body, your finances and your marriage.
